First blog

FINALLY...

This is my very first blog on cyberspace. My intention of starting one is so that I can journal my thoughts and readings, and hopefully, the more interesting events of my simple life. My wife has always been nagging/encouraging me to start writing a journal to document what God has been doing in my life, and so ya, here I am!

My blog space is aptly titled "Run like horses", which is inspired by Jeremiah 12:5 - "...if you get tired in a race against people, how can you possibly run against horses?"

A few weeks ago, this verse left an imprint in my heart, and I've been thinking about it since. Jeremiah was complaining to the Lord about the circumstances and injustice that he was facing at that time, and the Lord replied him with the verse above. For me, it is a timely reminder that sometimes we can get tired with the circumstances and people around us (more on that later), especially those close to us; but I think we really need to trust in God, that in the supernatural, He is in full control of all things.

To be able to "run like horses" is not naturally possible, but may God grant us the spiritual strength and stamina to do so and overcome our difficulties!
